A friend of yours is looking for a newplace to live and has asked for your advice. What do you think is the most importantcharacteristic of a good neighborhood? Use details and examples to explain youranswer.
As far as I am concerned, a good neighborshould be warmhearted and considerate.
To start with, a good neighbor must be warmhearted. A warmhearted neighbor can always offer help when you need. For example, I still remember one of my neighbors Mr. Zhang, a warmhearted elder man. When I was in elementary school,I always forgot to take the key of my apartment with me, so I could not have lunch when I came back home from school. Mr.Zhang always invited me to his apartment to have lunch. I’m still touched by his kindness now.
Moreover, good neighbors are considerate. They care about their local environment. Good neighbors will not throw trash on the ground, and if they see it they will pickit up. They will make decisions based with consideration to their neighbors.They won't play loud music late at night or get drunk and fight in public. They want to live in a happy, peaceful community and they believe that their personal actions have a direct effect on the happiness of all of their neighbors.

Do you agree or disagree with the followingstatement? Parents should be involved in the process of helping their childrento choose their career. Use specific reasons and details in your response.
I don’t agree with the statement for two reasons. First, kids need to do what they like. Kidswill be successful doing what they feel is right for them rather than living anunhappy life working in a career and living a life that their parents forcedthem in to. Life is short; we all need to be living happily doing what we likeand never should feel obligated to do anything just because of parents.
Second, kids should learn to make decisions by themselves. Take
myexperience for example, when I was young, my parents always made decisions forme. But later when I went to school in another city and started to live on myown, I felt so helpless and confused. I didn’t know how to make any decisionsby myself.
Therefore, I think it’s important for children to make their owndecisions.
