I have read A Dream of the Red Mansions many times. We all know that A Dream of the Red Mansions is not only one of the four famous Chinese classical novels but also the peak of the novel. The character images created in A Dream of the Red Mansions, are reached the highly unification between personality and common. Especially, Xue Baochai impress me deeply.
Maybe many people usually think that Baochai is very hypocritical, sophisticated and tactful to treat others. However, to be truth, I admire her way to deal with other people. “Neither treat people far nor nearly, treat the disgusted person would not see any indifferent attitudes, and the lovely person also has seen no close to devotion.” She is kind, and is good at considering for other people. She never disputes the language of sharp ridicule. All in all, she is beautiful, uncommon brilliance, great learning and she is always proper in her behaviour.
In contemporary society, some people like Xue Baochai can easily solve problems in their study, life and work. Firstly, in campus life, many students will face the problems related to their roommates. For example, they can not be accustomed to others` habits, they often quarrel with each other. However, it means nothing to some people like Xue Baochai, they can be relaxed to get well along with her roommates, living in harmony. Secondly, in daily life, they can live happily with their families, friends and neighbours. Last, they can succeed in their work. They never offend their boss and they can finish the work perfectly, so their boss will have confidence in them.
As far as I`m concerned, many aspects of Xue Baochai`s personality and charm are worthy of learning. Her brilliance of mind will be helpful to me in daily life. Works Cited
