square, accord, agree, conform, correspond

这五个词都可用来表示甲乙双方在某些方面很相似,有“一致”或“相符合”的意思。其区别是：

1.square强调两者之间完全一致,准确无误。

2.conform指在外形上或思想方法上互相“一致”,也可指一个人的言行应“符合”“遵守”“适应”一般所能接受的准则、规范、习惯等,其后常接介词to和with。例如:

Anarchy does not conform to the interests or wishes of the people.无状态不符合人民的利益和愿望。

You must conform yourself to the custom of the land.你必须遵从这个国家的习俗。
